Icon New Energy
“From Wellhead to Burner Tip!”
End User Sales
Essential to the task of creating value for end users behind the city gate is a strong Transportation and Exchange staff. Our personnel have been involved in pipeline capacity management from the earliest days of deregulation. We are extremely proud of our record providing our customers with dependable, firm natural gas supply on the major interstate pipelines across the United States.
This expertise in firm transportation management, combined with a deep understanding of utility tariff minutiae enables us to provide our customers with unsurpassed service and savings behind the city gate.
Our customers appreciate Icon’s attention to detail. Our personalized approach includes complete account management services such as load balancing, consolidated billing, utility tariff analysis and compliance, monthly savings statements and utility bill reconciliation. This commitment to detail ensures that our customers maximize their savings vs. expensive bundled utility rates.
Risk Management
Our risk management services help our customers avoid the adverse effects of commodity price volatility. Our risk management staff can design solutions to fit specific projects, or your entire energy portfolio. Icon is actively involved in the purchase and sale of both exchange-traded instruments and over-the-counter financial products to manage price volatility.
Direct-Delivery Pipeline Construction
In some instances, the only way to reduce the burner tip price that industrial end users pay for natural gas is to bypass the utility and connect them directly to the pipeline grid. Icon builds, owns and operates direct-delivery pipelines connecting end user facilities to interstate and intrastate pipelines. If this is a viable option for your facility, we’ll let you know.
Icon pipeline customers enjoy cost savings immediately, with no capital investment on their part. We handle all aspects of the project including acquisition of right-of-way, design and construction of the system and all regulatory issues and permits. Upon the completion of the project, we handle all operations and maintenance. The result is a lower natural gas price for the facility. Usually it is a dramatically lower price.
Producer Services
Icon manages the supply for several producers in various market areas, this supply gives us the flexibility and reliability to supply our industrial end users with the highest confidence. Currently, Icon has more than 250 BCF annually under management. We strive to connect our producer clients with our end-user clients, removing inefficient and redundant middle market brokers, and creating win-win economic outcomes for all.
